AND WHAT ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING?
On its own, roughly 31.6 millionths of a degree of avoided warming.

We could have shown a headline temperature figure. We won't. Cleaning up data does not cool the planet by itself — global emissions are roughly 40 billion tonnes a year, and this campaign is a fraction of a fraction of that.

What it does do is change the behaviour of millions of people in seven days, prove that a global audience can be converted into measurable action, and build the platform that can then be pointed at energy, transport, food and nature — where the tonnes are.
